Release Note 139

We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum. This is an update to the dashboard, the new public website and the older calendar website.

The release includes the following additions and fixes;

Dashboard updates

  1. Update to the MPesa payment option to allow the business shortcode to be independent from the payment recipient.
  2. Fix to the admission till to retain the default selection of till products when operating as a till and navigating away with an open order basket.
  3. Fix to the admission till to enable and disable the price band buttons as appropriate depending on the status of the till process.
  4. Update to the till receipt to display the number of items for a product when the quantity is greater than one.
  5. Update to the till & admissions settings to include an option to simplify the till interface to sell products.
  6. Update to till products to allow questions to be answered when adding the product to the order via the virtual till.
  7. Fix to till & admissions completed order receipt to hide the print content.
  8. Fix to the calendar to allow viewers to see resources that are set to be dashboard only.
  9. Update to the payment receipt to group similar payment items together.
  10. Update to the checkout process to allow part payment with credit when paying with Stripe.
  11. Fix to the activity booking report to correctly calculate the occupancy for time based activities.
  12. Update to the order checkout to disable the option to pay later on account for payments.
  13. Fix to the checkout page to prevent using a gift voucher from causing the page to load slowly.
  14. Fix to the bookings list to prevent searching by the date booking created from causing the page to load slowly.
  15. Fix to add a direct debit to a customer to warn the operator if the start date is within eight days.

Customer website updates

  1. Update to the cancellation process to provide a full refund when cancelling a reservation even when this is at short notice.
  2. Update to include credit options on the add credit page.
  3. Update to Stripe payments to display an errors with the payment method below the submit button.

Membership portal updates

  1. Update to purchasing membership by selecting specific direct debit due dates to include a gap fee in the initial payment.

API updates

  1. Update to the GoCardless membership process to update customer memberships if a payment is paid out to the client when the payment has not been confirmed.
