Release Note 138

We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum. This is an update to the dashboard, the new public website and the older calendar website.

The release includes the following additions and fixes;

Dashboard updates

1. Added a new settings section to enable an administrator to config their app and amend the style editor
2. Fix to message editor to prevent the booking system website address being automatically removed from links
3. Remove the option to set the pricing for an activity to be multibuy as this feature is now redundant 
4. Fix to the membership settings to record when a membership record is updated
5. Update to the disclaimer payment process to use the new version of the Stripe payment gateway
6. Update to the text message payment process to use the new version of the Stripe payment gateway
7. Update to add customer credit to integrate this with the checkout process
8. Update to add customer payment to integrate this with the checkout process
9. Fix to the realex payment gateway report to allow more columns per page to be shown
10. Update to the checkout process to embed the Stripe payment gateway within the checkout form
11. Update to the calendar view settings to remove the redundant option to enforce price band booking rules
12. Update to the text message report to show the number of text messages sent
13. Fix to the text message process to log text messages that are longer than 160 characters
14. Update to the public website settings to allow the FAQ link to be amended

Public website updates

1. Update to the Realex payment gateway to restricted the characters in the postal address
2. Fix to the order basket to calculate the payment notice period correctly if the activity booking notice period is set to zero
3. Update to the checkout process to embed the Stripe payment gateway within the checkout form
4. Fix to the order process to validate data entry on the options and extras pages before submission
5. Update to the activity views to display the customer name if they made the booking and booked sessions are displayed
6. Update to the activity views to display the opponents name if booked sessions are displayed
7. Fix to the home page to ignore the home page image if no image has been uploaded.

Membership portal

1. Update to the pay now options page to display the membership information text.

Legacy website updates

1. Fix to the checkout process to correcctly redirect to the order confirmation for payments using credit

API updates

1. Added a new version of the API to enhance security and conform to RESTful implementation standards
2. Update to removing a booking to add the option to disable the email notifications
3. Added documentation for developers to implement the new API on a third party website
