Release note 134

We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum. This is an update to the dashboard, the new public website and the older calendar website.

The release includes the following additions and fixes;

Dashboard updates

1. Update to the calendar to add the edit schedule button to time-based activities.
2. Update to optional extras to increase the maximum number to 250.
3. Update to time-based activity schedules to remove the option to disable additional session bookings as this is redundant.
4. Update to substitute activities to allow these to be selected for multi-person activities and move the settings to their own menu item.
5. Update to the booking notes report to add filters to include bookings only and/or specific optional extras.
6. Update to the bookings list to add the field option for optional extras.
7. Fix to the order process to allow group bookings of over one hundred.
8. Fix to the order process to empty the order basket automatically if an invalid customer has previously been assigned to it.
9. Update to membership settings to add the option to enable linked members to inherit the membership level of the parent account.
10. Fix to the order basket to return the correct price when updating a partial course order item.
11. Update to order confirmation and receipts to display the area reference if applicable.
12. Update to memberships to add the option to disable all payment gateways for a customer making a booking.
13. Update to the till receipt printout to include the end time of the activity.
14. Fix to the order tickets to display the correct value when a custom price has been applied to a booking covering several sessions.
15. Fix to the order process to restrict the minimum number of group bookings if group member names are not disabled.
16. Fix to boarding pass admissions to hide the print option for tickets that are not for the current day.
17. Update to order confirmations to allow venue descriptions to display using descriptive text as an option.

Public website updates

1. Fix to the checkout order basket to display the buy now button when gift vouchers reduce the amount payable to zero.
2. Update the checkout payment options to display each gift voucher available to use for the purchase as a button.
3. Update to time-based activities to add the option to set a limit to the number of bookings per day.
4. Fix to the order basket back to previous page button to take the customer back to the activity list or calendar that was last visited.
5. Update to view my bookings to display any notes that have been added.
6. Addition of a universal login facility that can be added to a third party website to enable a customer to log in to the booking system.
7. Update to add credit option to hide this option if there are bookings that are unpaid.

Gift voucher portal

1. Update the voucher settings to allow the name of the gift vouchers to be changed throughout the site.

Package portal

1.  Update to the payment options on the order checkout to include M-Pesa mobile payments.

1. Update to the public website settings to allow the information on the membership page to be edited.
2. Update to the payment options on the order checkout to include M-Pesa mobile payments.
3. Fix to the financial statement to when a membership is purchased that is not a subscription to display the name of the membership that was purchased.
