Release note 133

We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum. This is an update to the dashboard, the new public website and the older calendar website.

The release includes the following additions and fixes;

Dashboard updates

1. Update to a customer booking to display the answers to questions when logged in as a venue viewer.
2. Fix to session attendance to display the modified by name when the field is selected.
3. Fix to customer bookings to allow a cashless site to cancel a booking when entering a cancellation reason.
4. Update to the main menu to remove the public button when an operator is logged in as this link becomes redundant.
5. Fix to package settings to display the correct bookings per week.
6. Fix to the calendar to display the correct total availability for a resource when session shave been cancelled or moved.
7. Update to the calendar to reinstate the option to uncancel a session.
8. Update to the booking settings to remove the redundant option to enable venue booking.
9. Update to multi-person activities to remove the option to enable attendee disclaimers due to the option being available on the attendee activity list page.
10. Update to the site settings to clarify how each contact field is utilised and to remove redundant primary contact address details.
11. Update to the customer advanced settings to remove the correspondence email address as this is a duplication of the main profile page.
12. Update to packages to increase the number of characters allowed for the name of the package.
13. Fix to adding an activity schedule to require the area or resource to be selected.
14. Fix to updating a course schedule where products are included to update the product availability if their are booking in the future.
15. Update to the attendance absence report to include the area.
16. Update to activity schedules to allow up to eighty consecutive sessions.
17. Fix to the course attendance register to hide the standby column when the field is not selected.
18. Fix to manual admission pricing to allow the anonymous admission to be deselected.
19. Update to the cancellation policy to add the option to set a number of days in advance that a package session will be reinstated.

Public website updates

1. Fix to booking list to show the venue name when only one area of the venue has been booked.
2. Update to pay my bookings to include bookings that are part of an invoice.
3. Fix to the diary view to order the activities correctly by time and date.
4. Fix to availability in the list view to avoid restricting the this to the advance booking days for activities if the advance booking days for courses or events is longer.
5. Update to group bookings to leave additional group member names blank rather than automatically populate these with the customer name.
6. Update to the registration process to allow customers with designated email addresses to be assigned a specific price band.
7. Update to the order process to allow images to be associated with an optional extra product.
8. Fix to the checkout process to allocate promo voucher payments to order items.
9. Update to the M-Pesa payment process to suggest resubmission if the mobile push notification is not received by the customer.
10. Added the option for customers to login using Facebook.
11. Update to my account to allow a customer to link their account to their Facebook login.
12. Update to the home page to add an option to hide the purchasing package button.
13. Added the option for customers to login using Google.
14. Update to my account to allow a customer to link their account to their Google login.
15. Update to the Realex payment gateway to upgrade the integration to cope with 3D Secure 2.

Member checker updates

1. Added the facility to use a fingerprint scanner as an alternative to a barcode scanner for validating customer membership onsite.
2. Fix to automatic admissions to set the admission booking to the paid status due to the cost being zero.

API updates

1. Added the function to include package options within the order process allowing these to be retrieved and added to discount the order items.
2. Added the functions to retrieve a list of available public activity views and public view categories.
3. Update to the login function to include two way encryption of the user password.
