Release note 125

We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum. This is an update to the dashboard, the new public website and the older calendar website.

The release includes the following additions and fixes;

Dashboard updates

1. Added a new messaging feature to allow emails to be sent to attendees following the completion of their activity.
2. Update to the calendar views to hide cancelled sessions by default with the cancelled icon changing cancelled sessions to being visible.
3. Update to the boarding pass admissions to show if a booking is unpaid and not allow the ticket to be printed.
4. Update to the gift voucher redemption report to link this to the customer accounts.
5. Fix to the display of payments on direct invoices to group amounts together made on the same day by the same method.
6. Update to the venue question report to add an activity filter.
7. Update to the booking question report to add an activity filter.
8. Added a new page that will display the full list of prices for each multi-person activity and allow the prices to be deleted individually.
9. Added a new page that will display the full list of prices for each course and allow the prices to be deleted individually.
10. Added a new page that will display the full list of prices for each event and allow the prices to be deleted individually.
11. Added a new page that will display the full list of prices for each substitute activity and allow them to be deleted individually.
12. Added a new page that will display the full list of prices for each time-based activity and allow them to be deleted individually.
13. Update to adding a gift voucher to customers to allow a description to be entered that will be displayed on the voucher.
14. Update to scheduling to record the operator and time a weekday setting was updated.
15. Fix to the resource venue list to allow them to be ordered by the date they were created.
16. Update to the bookings list show the duration based on when the booking was made rather than the current set session duration.
17. Update to the cancellation policy to allow a limit to be set for the number of cancellations over a defined duration.
18. Fix to adding till products if the finance department is not enabled.
19. Update to till operator user level to allow order checkout when not linked to a till using cash or a payment gateway only.
20. Update to the customer list to allow customers to be filter by uploaded direct debit mandate.

Public website updates

1. Update to booking cancellations to prevent cancellations if the cancellation limit is exceeded.
2. Update to pay for my bookings to change the address of the page to pay.
3. Update to view my bookings to change the address of the page to bookings.
4. Fix to the single venue view to show the correct date an unavailable session will become available.
5. Added a new public view that will show activities in a diary layout per day or per week.
6. Update to request an activity to make it clearer that this option does not make initiate a booking.
7. Update to activity day views to include the option to show the previous day or next day's activities.
8. Update to activity listing and calendar views to allow the details of bookings to be displayed to customers.
9. Update to activity views to allow the availability to be restricted to a specified start and end date.

Calendar website updates

1. Update to booking cancellations to prevent cancellations if the cancellation limit is exceeded.
2. Update to set the colour of standby bookings to be different to a regular booking made by the customer.

Global updates

1. Update to custom questions to default the yes or no type questions to be yes unless altered.
2. Update to page structure to make page loading more efficient.
3. Fix to course pricing when a course is joined part way through to assign the total cost to the remaining sessions of the course.
4. Fix to same day availability to show any sessions where the stop time has been set to midnight.
