We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum. This is an update to the dashboard, the new public website and the older calendar website.

The release includes the following additions and fixes;


Dashboard updates

  1. Update to the electronic point of sale settings to clarify the option to enable till emulation for a browser that is not physically connected to a till.
  2. Update to the venue settings to allow venues to be updated when the start time of the schedules does not conflict with the duration.
  3. Update to the order process to simplify the question regarding how many areas of a venue are selected.
  4. Update to the registration email message to replace the password with a link to reset the password.
  5. Fix to adding an opponent to a booking to display this correctly on the calendar.
  6. Update to activity schedules to add the option to include a stop time when bookings will no longer be available for the same day.
  7. Update to block bookings to allow the operator to book any available sessions.
  8. Update to the cancellation email to show the number of bookings cancelled if there are more than one for the same session.
  9. Update to the booking sheet email to list the areas within venue that have been booked instead of just the first area booked.
  10. Added a new report for the Stripe payment gateway to display credits and payments made by operators.
  11. Fix to price overrides to correctly attribute the cost of individual sessions where there are a high odd number of consecutive sessions.
  12. Update to the login process to record the last time the user made a successful login.
  13. Update to the customer financial statement to prevent purchase items and booking transactions from being deleted.
  14. Update to the order confirmation and reservation messages to allow the venue name to be included.
  15. Update to the order checkout to disable the use of vouchers when making a reservation.
  16. Update to adding and updating schedules to improve the speed of the process that checks for scheduling conflicts.
  17. Update to promo vouchers to add the option to apply single use vouchers to all items in the order basket or a single item.
  18. Fix to the customer financial page to display the statement correctly if not logged in as an administrator.
  19. Added a new operator level for till operators who are restricted to till admissions and making bookings.
  20. Update to the operator list to automatically hide disabled operators.
  21. Fix to the booking questions report to order the answers correctly if there are questions that have not been answered for the activity.
  22. Fix to the order process to hide the payment options when making a reservation.
  23. Update to the credit options to allow the PayPal email address to be edited on the settings page.
  24. Update to price band settings to add the option to allow customers to change the date and time of their venue booking.

Public website updates

  1. Update to the privacy policy due to GPDR.
  2. Fix to adding an opponent to a booking to exclude the customer from the list of opponents.
  3. Fix to pay for my bookings to include all bookings in the payment if more than one was selected.
  4. Update to the login process to record the last time the customer made a successful login.
  5. Update to the order checkout to disable the use of vouchers when making a reservation.
  6. Update to the text displayed on a group booking to make it explicit who the person the booking is for.
  7. Fix to the request activity feature to send a copy of the email to the site contact.
  8. Fix to the order checkout to enable new Stripe accounts to allow customer to pay using Stripe.
  9. Fix to my bookings to hide the update button if there is nothing to update.
  10. Update to the my bookings page to allow specific customers to change the date and time of their time-based venue booking.

Calendar website updates

  1. Added the privacy policy and cookie policy to the footer due to GDPR.
  2. Fix to adding an opponent to a booking to exclude the customer from the list of opponents.
  3. Update to the login process to record the last time the customer made a successful login.

Voucher portal updates

  1. Added the site contact details, privacy policy and cookie policy to the footer due to GPDR.


Disclaimer portal updates

  1. Added the site contact details, privacy policy and cookie policy to the footer due to GPDR.
  2. Added the option for group leaders to add the disclaimers for an underage group in one process.

Membership portal updates

  1. Added the site contact details, privacy policy and cookie policy to the footer due to GPDR.
