We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum. This is an update to the dashboard, the new public website and the older calendar website.

The release includes the following additions and fixes;

Dashboard updates

Update to the Stripe payment option to allow sign up to a Stripe account via the dashboard.
Fix to the electronic point of sale settings to save the item price look-up codes.
Fix to the automatic generation of passwords to ensure the password conforms to the new strict criteria.
Fix to the order process to show the booking questions if applicable and no other options are required to be entered for booking the activity.
Fix to the membership resource booking rules to match the checkboxes to the correct resource heading.
Update to the order confirmation and receipt confirmation messages to include the option to display the venue phone number.
Update to venues to add an email address that will receive a copy of all bookings and cancellations if these messages are enabled.
Update to optional extras to allow optional extras to be available to venues.
Update to the Stripe payment gateway to provide a simple way to connect a new or existing Stripe account.
Update to the booking process to provide the option of an online payment processing fee.
Fix to adding credit options to prevent all the information from being ignored if invalid characters are contained in the name of the credit option.
Update to the customer booking page to add an option to refund back to Stripe if this payment method was utilised.
Added a Stripe payment gateway report to display payments sent to Stripe with the option to refund the entire payment.
Update to the customer booking page to add an option to cancel a booking without a refund or sending an email notification.
Update to the the public website settings to allow the cookie policy and the privacy policy links to be updated.
Fix to rescheduling courses to prevent the previous session details being deleted.
Update to the dashboard login to prevent use of old passwords and require new passwords to be utilised.
Fix to forgotten password link on the new customer email.
Update to the price band attendance report to include the number of short notice cancellations and number of bookings refunded.
Update to time-based activities to add the option to require an attendee disclaimer to be completed by the customer.
Fix to the order process to allow operators to select multiple sessions on different areas for time-based activities.
Fix to the accountants report to correctly display the resource name.
Fix to rescheduling a customer booking where it would not reschedule a single person booking.
Fix to the SagePay payment options to display the correct external IP address of the web server.
Update to the cancellation process to take a rebate from the customer if a cancellation included a booking paid using a promo voucher.
Fix to calendar appointments to compensate time for calendar devices that do not recognise specified time zones.
Update to the order basket expiry to add the option to set this to one minute.
Update to the bookings section to only display live activities in the filter options.
Fix to the order basket to allow a product price to be updated.

Public website updates

Update to the password reset message to indicate that a password cannot include a quotation mark as a special character.
Fix to part payment option with using the Stripe payment method to set the correct amount to be taken by Stripe.
Update to the booking reminder message to exclude subsequent sessions on a course programme from receiving emails.
Update to the order process to allow a descriptive set of option when selecting the number of areas within a venue.
Update to activity schedules to add an override for the advance booking days.
Update to the order receipt to display the venue name when one area within a venue is booked.
Update to the booking process to provide the option of a online payment processing fee.
Added a cookie policy that is displayed the first time the customer visits the website.
Fix to login for entering missing answers to questions to avoid logging in again.
Update to paying for bookings to allow the customer to use existing credit on account to allocate to unpaid bookings.
Update to paying for reservations to allow the customer to use existing credit on account to allocate to unpaid reservations.
Fix to forgotten password link on the registration email.
Update the the reset password expiry to one day.
Added the option to change the colour of the footer text.
Fix to login when answering missing answers to custom questions to only require mandatory questions to be answered.
Update to the login process to ask the customer to confirm if they would like to opt-in to receive marketing information from the site if they have not answered this question previously.
Fix to repeat bookings to restrict the number of weeks to the advanced booking day restriction.

Calendar website updates

Update to the booking process to provide the option of an online payment processing fee.
Fix to login for entering missing answers to questions to avoid logging in again.
Fix to forgotten password link on the registration email.
Update the the reset password expiry to one day.
Fix to login when answering missing answers to custom questions to only require mandatory questions to be answered.
Fix to repeat bookings to restrict the number of weeks to the advanced booking day restriction.

Membership portal updates

Update to the template to use the custom stylesheet if this has been uploaded.
Fix to the registration process to store the correctly encrypted password.

Voucher portal updates

Update to the template to use the custom stylesheet if this has been uploaded.
