Release note 122

We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum. This is an update to the dashboard, the new public website and the older calendar website.

For users of the old calendar site, you will now have to log in via the dashboard rather than through the calendar site itself. 

The release includes the following additions and fixes;

Dashboard updates

  1. Fix to the payment allocation process to cope with large numbers of unallocated payments and bookings.
  2. Update to customer actions to remove the option to delete customers to prevent issues with auditing (customers should have the details redacted and/or their account disabled).
  3. Update to cancel activity options to only allow admins to cancel all future sessions.
  4. Fix to price override for courses when group names are disabled to display the price per session rather than the price per course.
  5. Update to session attendance to change the label for optional extras from products.
  6. Fix to the booking questions to show questions that have been disabled for customer entry.
  7. Update to login password encryption to create stronger passwords.
  8. Update the reset password process to send a link that will enable a password to be reset.
  9. Fix to the customer questions on the customer profile to correctly display a date following an update.
  10. Fix to cancelling an activity to credit back packages when the option to reinstate them is selected.
  11. Update to customer payments to include the option to pay using Stripe.
  12. Update to customer payments to include the option to pay using WorldPay.
  13. Update to booking cancellation report to include the cost of the booking.
  14. Added a new attendance price band report to display the attendance per price band.
  15. Update to site setup to remove redundant options to enable the style editor, enable frame mode and set the site to be event only.
  16. Update to the booking notes report to display all customers for multiple person activities.
  17. Update to the order checkout to add Netpay as a payment option.
  18. Update to customer membership transactions to order those by the date descending.
  19. Fix to the reservation cancellation process to cancel the second area of bookings where the cost is zero and the booking was marked as paid.
  20. Update to repeat block bookings; for example, if the booking date is a Tuesday and you select Monday, Tuesday, Friday and enter one week - a booking will also be made for the next Friday and in the following week on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
  21. Update to resources to allow the latitude and longitude of the location to be entered.
  22. Update to venues to allow the latitude and longitude of the location to be entered.
  23. Update to the manual direct debit process to include the option to reset the customer to be a new direct debit customer, if applicable.

Public website updates

  1. Fix to the optional extras to display the optional extra description text for the activity.
  2. Update to login password encryption to create stronger passwords.
  3. Update the reset password process to send a link that will enable a password to be reset.
  4. Update to the order checkout to add Netpay as a payment option.
  5. Update to the order checkout to add Netpay as a payment option.
  6. Update to the home page to allow activities to be displayed on a map based on the venue or area where they are located.

Calendar website updates

  1. Update to login password encryption to create stronger passwords.
  2. Update the reset password process to send a link that will enable a password to be reset.
  3. Update to the order checkout to add Netpay as a payment option.
  4. Fix to customer login to prevent customers that are disabled from loging in.
