Release note 121

We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum.
The release includes the following additions and fixes;

Dashboard updates

1. Update to the order confirmation receipt message to include the option to insert the customer address into the email message.
2. Fix to customer gift vouchers to correctly show the balance following use of the voucher within any order.
3. Update to the customer add credit to allow use of the credit note payment option.
4. Fix to custom invoices to display the custom description rather than the type of invoice.
5. Fix to allow an operator to make a booking by selecting for more than one time-based activity area.
6. Update to the order checkout to allow payment by PayPal (although true payment confirmation is reliant of the speed of notification from PayPal servers).
7. Update to the order checkout to allow payment by Realex.
8. Update to the order checkout to allow payment by SagePay.
9. Fix to customer payments to upgrade reservations for all sessions when a multi-session booking is paid instead of only the first session.
10. Update to the direct debit process for GoCardless to increase the minimum gap to eight days.
11. Fix to the manual direct debit report to allow direct debit account names to have up to fifty characters.
12. Fix to the admissions till to correctly show or hide the cash and cheque checkout buttons.
13. Fix to direct debit mandate next payment date to show the first payment date if the first payment date is in the future.
14. Update to multi-person activities to add the option to set the activity to be mandatory exclusivity.

Public website updates

1. Update to customer registration to allow the text for the mandatory marketing consent option question to be replaced.
2. Update to order checkout to remove the option to part pay using credit if the credit available exceeds the total order cost.
3. Update to the order checkout to allow part payment using credit when using the Stripe payment option.
4. Added a new menu item to display direct debit mandates that have been created with the option to add a new direct debit and cancel existing direct debits.
5. Fix to the order checkout using SagePay to remove the duplicate header and return the customer to the order confirmation without being displayed as a page within a page.
6. Fix to the order process to avoid bypassing substitute activity selection when the substitute activity is required.

Membership portal updates

1. Update to the payment selection process to include the option to pay by direct debit using GoCardless.

Calendar website updates

1. Fix to the order basket to prevent customers from changing the price band for each ticket when individual price band selection was activated but group bookings were disabled.
2. Fix to the order checkout to prevent use of the old WorldPay payment gateway if only one payment option was available.
3. Fix to the order checkout using SagePay to return the customer to the order confirmation without being displayed as a page within a page.

Memberchecker updates 

1. Fix to adding a new customer to go to the correct page and allow the customer to be added with the scanned barcode.

Hosting updates 

1. We have installed a number of new server layers and re-zoned the existing architecture, to improve system reliability and robustness as well as security; it has also set in place technical solutions to ensure we exceed any GDPR requirements.
