Release note 119

We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum.
The release includes the following additions and fixes;
Dashboard updates
- Fix to the customer credit page to retain the correct transaction date if the form is not completed.
- Update to the calendar to show a link to the order basket to allow the customer attached to the order basket to be removed, even when there are no items in the order basket.
- Fix to customer look-up to exclude incorrect special characters from the address field.
- Update to the customer custom questions to allow these to be set to mandatory on registration.
- Update to the activity summary report to include the activity type in the filters and display the date criteria when exported to a spreadsheet.
- Update to the multi-person activity schedule list to include the option to select the display name from the display fields.
- Update to the time-based activity schedule list to include the option to select the display name from the display fields.
- Update to the course schedule list to include the option to select the display name from the display fields.
- Update to the event schedule list to include the option to select the display name from the display fields.
- Fix to the direct debit summary report to allow keyword search to be performed.
- Update to the groundsman report to include a resource type filter and add the option to insert page breaks following each category.
- Update to the customer profile to move the customer notes box to the top of the page.
- Update to the customer selection to exclude disabled customer records.
- Update to the calendar list views to add the option to hide cancelled sessions from view.
- Update to the instructor calendar to display the number of bookings and availability.
- Update to the customer list to include the fields for who created the customer record and the created date.
- Update to scheduling multi-person activities to add a minimum number of participants for group bookings.
- Update to scheduling events to add a minimum number of participants for group bookings.
- Update to scheduling courses to add a minimum number of participants for group bookings.
- Update to the vertical calendar views to include all activities within each area in the total displayed at the foot of the column.
- Update the customer allocations to allow negative payments to be allocated to order items.
- Fix to payment allocation to prevent refund payments from being allocated to themselves so they can be used to allocate against other items.
- Update to the payment analysis report to add the option to filter the report by who the customer record was created by.
- Update to multi-person activities to allow free gift vouchers to be created based on the number of bookings ordered for the activity.
- Update to the customer list to add the payment status date and a payment status date filter.
- Update to checkout payment options to remove the payment gateway options that are unavailable to operators; SagePay, Realex and PayPal.
- Update to checkout payment options to remove the voucher option due to the replacement gift voucher feature.
- Fix to pay mised direct debit subscription to record the change in frozen status.
- Fix to order receipt to not attach a booking ticket f the order does not include any bookings.
Public website
- Update to the guest home page to display the purchase membership option if applicable.
- Update to the order process to prevent suspended and disabled customer accounts from adding items to their order basket.
Calendar website updates
- Added Stripe as a new payment option to allow customers to pay online.
Voucher website updates
- Update to the display options to include the date the voucher will expire, if applicable.
- Fix to the voucher options to show an error if a customer enters a non-numeric monetary value.
Support website updates
- Update to the faq section by replacing this with a categorised knowledge base that will be populated with solutions and guides.
- Added release notes from the last twelve months to the knowledge base.
- Added a search facility that will allow all support documents to be explored.
- Added the option to subscribe to our mailing list.
API updates
- Update to the pos transactions function to include the parent order item for payments allocated to child order items.
- Added an import function to allow files from external membership systems to be uploaded to the server.
- Update to the get user function to return whether a user completed their induction.
General updates
- Fix to payment allocation when using split payments that include a credit to allocate the payments to the correct items.
