Release note 114

We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum.
This is an update to the dashboard, the new public website and the monitoring website. The release includes the following additions and fixes;

Dashboard updates

  1. Added quick links to view single areas and venues on the resources settings page.
  2. Update to the public website activity view type descriptions to make them clearer.
  3. Fix to display the correct list of available substitute activities if the minimum duration is not one consecutive session.
  4. Update to resource areas to allow the name and reference to be up to fifty characters long.
  5. Update to activities to allow the name and display name to be up to fifty characters long.
  6. Fix to public activity views to go back to the correct page when cancelling an update or addition.
  7. Update to activity views to display the view category and ID.
  8. Fix to standby list on pop-up to show the name or first & last name as appropriate.
  9. Added the ability to set resource booking rules to restrict a membership to booking specific resources only.
  10. Update to membership booking rules to clarify that these relate to which category a membership can book.
  11. Added a description of the customer when making a booking to highlight the price band, membership and renewal dates.
  12. Update to the colour of error messages to purple to avoid a class with heading colours and highlight errors more effectively.
  13. Fix to package allocation to apply the package to multiple sessions from different areas with the same activity.

Public website updates

  1. Added the option to display a schedule to customers without having the ability to book the activity.
  2. Added a clearer display when the number of available places left applies to standby bookings only.
  3. Added the option to move selection of the number of the group members to appear following the selection of the activity to book.
  4. Added quick link to view alternative weeks when viewing the calendar of availability.
  5. Added the ability to link directly to an activity view from an external website.
  6. Added the option to display the cost on the list of available activities.
  7. Fix to activity name listed to show the activity display name rather than the activity name.
  8. Update to skip the calendar date choice when the calendar availability option has not been selected.
  9. Update to remove the select a booking heading on the home page due to the ability to add custom content to this page.
  10. Fix to the background and text colour of the menu options to match the colours selected for the main heading.
  11. Fix to the activity information page to display the activity display name rather than the reference name.
  12. Fix to the places left to remove the greater than symbol if zero percent is selected on the activity display settings.
  13. Fix to package allocation to apply the package to multiple sessions from different areas with the same activity.

Monitoring updates

  1. Added the cost and created date for each booking in the venue question report.
