Release note 103

We’ve updated Sports Booker with some new features and bug fixes discovered through our support forum.
This is an update to the dashboard, the new public website, the older calendar website and member checker. The release includes the following additions and fixes;

Dashboard updates

Added an opt-out option for email messages to continue using the previous email delivery process (accepting that some emails may fail to reach their recipients).
Fix to the membership checkout to include the joining fee when using a payment method other than direct debit.
Renamed the voucher feature to promo vouchers to differentiate this feature from gift vouchers.
Update to the order checkout to allow promotional voucher codes to be used to discount bookings.
Fix to substitute activities when adding a new substitute activity with venue pricing where the initial data entry was being transposed into single area pricing.
Fix to calendar booking reschedule to include the first area of the same venue where the activity can occupy one or more areas within the venue.
Fix to venue booking questions report to hide questions that are no longer live.
Fix to booking exclusively when the booking would be incorrectly denied if a previous booking had been cancelled.
Update to the order checkout to remove payment gateway options if the total amount is not positive.
Update to the booking cancellation page to automatically change the cancellation override total when a booking is checked or unchecked.
Update to adding a resource area to move the single reoccurring activity option from the display options to the main area settings.
Fix to allow the cost of a booking to be modified to an amount that is not divisible by the number of consecutive sessions being booked.
Fix to the financial customer balance report to maintain the date search criteria when reordering the report.
Added a balance column to the booking list report.
Update to the settings menu to reorder the sections in order of priority.
Update to cancelling a booking by payment without being connected to a physical till to display each of the available refund payment options and automatically checkout.
Added a six week option to the membership frequency of payment.
Fix to course calendar view to display subsequent course sessions when individual or late course booking is available to operators.
Update to the booking page to simplify the content on the page and require the cancellation reason to be entered before the form is submitted.
Fix to booking page to add a zero cost booking if a booking is cancelled by payment.

Public website updates

Update to the promo voucher feature to allow promotional voucher codes to be used to discount bookings on the checkout.
Fix to the venue activity view to display the activity description above the calendar when this option is selected.
Fix to pay my bookings to allow the selection of individual bookings to be paid.
Update to pay my bookings to allow unpaid cancelled bookings to be added to the order basket.

Calendar website updates

Fix to course calendar view to display subsequent course sessions when individual or late course booking is available to customers.

Member Checker updates

Fix to the member checker to prevent bookings that are on standby from being included on the print receipt.

General updates

Update to the email delivery process to differentiate the from and reply to email addresses from all email sent out by Sports Booker. All emails will arrive from an unmonitored Sports Booker email account; bookings@sports-booker.com. The reply to email address will continue to be set to the appropriate site contact from the website settings. The from address is required to be set to the Sports Booker host domain to avoid emails being marked as junk mail or rejected by some email hosting providers. Any customer who replies to an email sent from Sports Booker will reply to the contact email address you have chosen, and not the Sports Booker from address.
Fix to email copy receipt function to include the standby description from the schedule if a booking in the order is on standby.
