How to assign membership cards to both new and existing customers using memberchecker

Note: To assign membership cards to customers you will firstly need to go to Settings > Customers > Data capture.

You will then need to ensure the Membership barcode question label is ticked for both of the the related Full details and Minimum details boxes. After doing this click Update customer data settings at the bottom of the page. 

 

To assign a card to a new customer 

Scan a new card and this will pull up an Unknown user box as this card has not been assigned to a customer yet. 

Within this same Unknown user box an Add button will appear.

Click the Add button and this will take you to the new Add customer page on Sports Booker and will also pull in the barcode information in to the member barcode box.

Enter the rest of the customer detais and then click Add customer at the bottom of the page. 

Next time you scan this card the related customer will appear on the screen. 

 

To assign a card to an existing customer 

Go to the Customers section at the top of the dashboard.

Search for the customer you would like to assign a membership card to and open up their profile.

Go to the Membership settings heading and type in the number that appears on the card in to the Member barcode box.

Click Update account at the bottom of the page.

Next time you scan this card the related customer will appear on the screen.
