How to link a Fidelity till to your site
These instructions explain how to manage the settings that will enable your website to link to Fidelity tills.
1. Under the Payment options section of the Financial settings you will find the option to activate Electronic Point of Sale and On Account for operators. Both these options should be set to Yes.
2. On the Web services settings page it will display the Web service URL, Web service username and Web service password. These settings are required by the till to enable it to communicate with the website. The username and password should be changed from the default settings.Go to Settings > Web services.
3. When these settings have been entered in the Fidelity till it should enable the till to gather the order details from the website. This occurs when the PoS checkout button is pressed to complete an order transaction.
4. The Fidelity till should pass the system ID of the till to the website browser when the website is first opened. This will identify the browser as being connected to a till and link any order baskets that are created in the browser to the till. A linked till browser will have additional functions on the website, such as the forward and back arrows on the dashboard main menu.
