How to add a coupon to an activity

A coupon is automatically added to an order basket when it is applicable. Coupons can be restricted to a date range and to off-peak times only. They operate like loyalty cards and need to be assigned to individual customers. 

1. Go to Settings > Feature choices and tick the Dashboard - Settings - Financial - Coupons box.

2. Click Update settings.

3. Go to Settings > Financial > Coupons > Add coupon. 

4. You then need to enter information on the following:

Name
Code
Amount (Option 1) - the amount that will be discounted from the total amount.
Percentage (Option 2) - the percentage that will be discounted from the total amount.
Single use - choose whether this coupon is used once or multiple times.
Coupon type - choose whether this coupon is valid all day, during peak times, during off-peak times or during the time specified here.
Start time - the time when the coupon is valid from.
End time - the time when the coupon will expire.

5. Select the activities you would like to make this coupon available for under the Activity availabilty heading. 

6. Click Update coupon. 

7. Go to the Customers section at the top of your dashboard.

8. Click on a profile to open it up.

9. Select the Financial sub menu and then click the Coupon option from the left hand side of the screen. 

10. Click Add coupon. 

10. Select the coupon you wish to add from the drop-down box and enter the availability dates this of this coupon.

11. Click Update details.
