Connecting Stripe Terminal To Sports Booker

Follow the steps below to link a Stripe Reader to Sports Booker:

  1. Link Stripe Account to Sports Booker through the dashboard. Either create a new Stripe account, or link an existing Stripe account when doing this.



     
  2. Make sure the reader is switched on and connected to a network that has a connection to the internet.

     
  3. Go to the Stripe Dashboard. On the Stripe navigation bar, click "More" and then click "Terminal". Click get started if a prompt appears with a Stripe popup.



     
  4. You will see a section in the middle of the screen called locations. Add a new location.



     
  5. Once the location is made, click into it.



     
  6. You will see a readers section in the middle of the screen. Add a new reader by clicking "register reader".



     
  7. When prompted for the registration code, you can generate a new one on the reader by going to the settings and generating a pairing code.

     
  8. Enter this code (hyphens included) and give the reader a name.



     
  9. When the reader is added, click into it. Copy the Reader ID.



     
  10. Go back to Sports Booker, and go to Settings > Till and Admissions. Paste the Reader ID you copied from Stripe into the "Stripe Terminal Reader ID" field. Also enter an EPOS System ID on Sports Booker to enable POS checkout functionality, this can be anything.



     
  11. Go to the Sports Booker calendar, add something to the basket and instead of clicking checkout, click POS checkout. If configured correctly, pricing data will show up on the reader allowing the customer to pay by card.


     12. Wait for the checkout process to complete. Your Sports Booker page will refresh and redirect you to the checkout once completed, so make sure to let it load before attempting to click anything else.
