How to change the text of the mandatory GDPR marketing consent question

When a new customer registers through your public website or is registered via the dashboard they will be asked the mandatory marketing consent question.

However, the wording of this question can be changed if your organisation wishes to do so.

The default question reads as "Do you consent to receiving information from (your site name)?"

1. To change the text of this question go to Settings > Customers > Registration settings.

2. Phrase your question in the Marketing consent question label box. Any text entered here will replace the default question relating to the customer opting in to receive marketing information and communications from your organisation.

3. Click Update details at the bottom of the page.
