Closing your Site to Bookings
In light of new restrictions across England, and potential/existing measures across the country, it is likely that you will need to close to bookings for a time. There are a number of ways to do this:
Closing the entire Public Site
- Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Bookings
- Set "Disable the booking system" to Yes
- Click "Update details at the bottom of the page"
This will prevent customers from logging in at all to the public site, while not closing anything off on the dashboard (should you have need of it).
Preventing customers from booking but still allowing login
- Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Public website > Categories/Activity views
- Go into each Category (or Activity view if no categories configured)
- Set Live to No
- Click Update
Customers will still be able to login, e.g. to pay account balance or change profile details, but will not see any button to select an activity etc. This will also leave all sessions bookable on the dashboard.
Completely stopping all availability
- Cancel all future bookings, from the day you will be shut
- Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Scheduling
- Go into each Schedule, and set the End date to the first day you will be shut
- Click Update schedule.
This will mean there is no availability on either the dashboard or the public website. Note - if you are using the older (calendar) public website, please use this method.
